Certified state criminal history
Delaware State Police SBI provides the fingerprint-based certified Delaware criminal-history product. The published state-only fee is $72.
Court case file
Delaware Courts provides court-specific public-access policies. The courts explicitly say they cannot provide a consolidated Delaware criminal history.
Personal-use history vs mandated check
DSP assigns service code 27RVGT to a personal certified Delaware history and warns that this personal report does not satisfy legally mandated agencies, entities or organizations.

Ask why the background is required
If an employer, licensing body or other organization requires a certified history, obtain that requesting organization’s service code rather than choosing one by guesswork.

DSP identifies 27RVGT for a citizen’s personal certified Delaware criminal-history report and says it is for the requesting citizen’s personal use.

Bring identification and complete fingerprint enrollment
The certified history is fingerprint-based. A printed fingerprint card by itself is a separate service and does not produce the SBI background report.

Public-terminal access and remote access are not equivalent
Superior Court’s criminal docket is available at courthouse terminals
Superior Court access notice says civil and criminal dockets and non-confidential documents are available for free viewing on public access terminals in all three counties. The same notice describes remote access to the civil docket through a subscription service, so readers should not assume the criminal docket has the same remote public availability as the courthouse terminal.
Choose certified proof from the system that created it
If the receiving party asks for a certified Delaware criminal-history report, use DSP/SBI and the correct service code. If it asks for the certified judgment or docket document from a specific prosecution, use the court that holds the case. Those outputs can describe overlapping events but are not interchangeable.
A statewide history may summarize reported arrests/dispositions; the underlying court file supplies the court’s own docket and filed documents. When wording, sentence, dismissal or final order matters, retrieve the court document rather than relying only on a history summary.
